Zenith : a novelty 2012 sold at auction for the association Smiling Children

Guests at the occasion enjoyed a host of original live performances, games and many other surprises. A number of prestigious objects were auctioned by Simon de Pury, in order to raise funds for the foundation’s activities. Over 1,400,000 SFr. were raised for the association during the evening.

The Type 20 Pilot’s Watch, sold at auction by Zenith, was a great success, fetching almost five times its retail price of 7 800 €. This unique timepiece will be unveiled and formally presented to the public and press at the BASELWORLD in March 2012.

Several celebrities were among the guests. Singer Anais Croze, French rapper Mokobé, actress and singer Arielle Dombasle, and the French group “The Supermen Lovers” honored the Smiling Children Association with their presence. Jean-Frédéric Dufour generously presented them all with a complimentary Zenith watch.
